MOLD REMEDIATION
In 2015 the Craig Tribal Association applied for the Indian Community Development Block Grant (ICDBG) for Mold Remediation and Prevention through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. That same year, the Tribe was awarded $553,150 for this grant.
With this grant the Tribe was able to establish the new Housing Department, hire a Housing Department Manager, and employ four carpenters and laborers to complete the necessary scopes of work. Overall, the Tribe was able to successfully remediate any mold and or moisture damages in sixteen (16) total homes within the Craig Tribal service area.
For possible future funding, we will continue to take applications for mold remediation.
